Support your Nervous System in Ramadan

Many women enter Ramadan thinking the goal is to ignore their bodies.
To push through exhaustion, survive on broken sleep, eat whatever is available, and stop moving completely.
And by the end of the month, they are not just spiritually tired. They are also hormonally disrupted, emotionally fragile and mentally foggy :(
And then the worship begins to feel heavy.
Your body is supposed to carry your worship not become an obstacle!
The Sahabah understood this. They slept with intention, so they could stand in the night. They ate with intention, so they could fast in the day. They paced themselves, so they could remain consistent.
Even their rest became worship, because it was in service of worship.
Your hormones affect your emotional stability (and sabr in that), your focus, and your motivation.
When your body is in distress, your ibadah feels heavier.
And when your body is cared for, worship becomes lighter.
This Ramadan, do not neglect the vessel that carries your soul.
Care for it with intention.
So that every meal, every step, and every hour of sleep becomes something that helps you reach Allah ❤️
